SS, here's a funny for ya... So Rick comes in yesterday afternoon after messing with Scamp... Babe, after sweating him, his crest wasn't wet. Well, how many sweats did you have on him? One. How long did you sweat him? An hour. What sweat did you put on him? The big one.
I said, yeah, that's why he didn't sweat. I said, do you want me to show you which ones to put on him? No, I know how to sweat a horse. I said, well, you need to do it for 2 hours. I know that, he says, I wasn't trying to sweat the beegeebies out of him. I said, well, what the heck did you even put the sweat on for? Well, because I wanted to.
Okay, I can tell this is going to be real fun. I have a choice - either shut up and let him make a fool out of himself - probably won't, but Scamp won't look the best he can OR just start doing it myself and never saying a word, because he'll be at work, and he'll never know....
He got kind of aggravated at me...saying I wasn't the only one that knew how to get a halter horse ready (true, but in this house it looks I may be - HA!)... finally, I told him, look, you don't see me out there training a gosh-danged roping horse, do you, and not asking you for help? No, he says. Well, it's the same thing. Then he says... well, I've seen you do it enough, I know how to do it.... (me thinks apparently not - plus he was at work when I did it!)... and I know he's not "rubbing" him, just brushing him - which is a big thing with me....
So I just shut up and let him do his thing and be embarassed or do I just do it anyways????
