20-0!!!!!!

My son's basketball team just finished the regular season last night and they went 20-0, first time for our school in 30 years! For us horse people, compare this to winning Grand Champion at a big show! Everyone was going nuts! We always get huge crowds but all the kids swarmed the court and hugged all the players and there was plenty of cameras. I haven't seen the paper yet but it will be a big story.
Well, anyway they start play in the district tournament on Wednesday and we are ranked #2 in the state last time I checked, maybe #i1 by now! Just got to get through a few more games and we'll be in Lansing at the Breslin Center playing for the state title on March 24th!! Go Lancers!

That is so cool! I know how proud you must be! STATE here ya'll come!

That is SOOO exciting! Congrats! Brings back memories, when I played basketball (WAY back in the dark ages) my sophomore team went undefeated too, and our varsity was one game away from going to state. Keep us updated!!! I love watching basketball! It's my favorite sport (other than equestrian obviously!)

Well, the team is now 24-0!!! We won district championships last week and we just won regional championships tonight in overtime by one point with a deperation three point shot in the last second! We haven't been in overtime all year so that was exciting! Now, we will play in the quarterfinals next Tuesday and then if we win that, it will be semifinals next Friday and the state championship on Saturday!! Go Lancers!!

Sweeettt! Boy, they are just ripping and roaring, aren't they!

I sure hope they're the new state champs! You're going to have to post some pics, ya know.

You know, I can imagine how tickeled and proud you are! I swear, with there being so many good basketball players in our family; Mom actually played college ball, two sisters played college ball, brother-in-law did, he's a BB coach and so is my sister.... the boys played Bball when they were young, but Trent's like, heck, Mom, they run more than we do in football, and he wants absolutely no part of that! Aggravating!

They must have one heck of a coach! I sure wish we had a coach worth a flip here...we have a lot of talent, but our coach is just a has been... hopefully he'll leave this year! Okay, I better get off that topic... whew!
