Her neck does come out pretty low, even for a pleasure horse. It makes her look unbalanced, which means that, like TJ said, her lope might be kind of off. She's a very pretty mare, my gelding Cowboy was bred a lot like her. I'm wondering if she has show experience with halter or under saddle??? I still like the other mare, I think she is built better, but that's just me Smile

The first thing I noticed about her was her neck, but other than that, I like what I see. Can you get a video of her?

Not a great neck.. That does not matter as much in pleasure.. My thoughts are: Why is she just in training as a 5yr old? Says she was handled alot since she was a 2yr old? What was done before that? Also, she is too short for a pleasure horse.. Likely that 15.1 is pushing it. Now, some may say that does not matter.. But, we all know it does when you are riding around a show pen with 16H horses.. Just my $.02 worth.. geek

Good neck placement is very important to a western pleasure horse, for balance. If they are tied in TOO low, it can make them heavy in the front end. I just think this mare could have done a lot more in her lifetime. And yes, she is too small too.

Its hard to tell if she is camped under and/or sickle hocked. In the profile pic she appears camped under...in the isolated rear shot she looks pretty straight. It would be pretty easy to tell based on how she moves...Not really sure at this point...
Videos would clear up alot!

Agree on the neck comentary, once again though, not a show person so I can't explain as much on that.

I DO know about camped under and knees and stuff like that (dang race horses)...with a camped under horse you aren't going to get the stride or the extention because they are starting out behind. However, some barrel racers like the camped under horses because they think it helps a horse stop harder on their back ends...personally I think the more correct the horse the better shot you have at them performing in any discipline!

Thanks for that Lynn, i would rather a pally or something with a creme gene as where i intend to breed from them at a later date.Everything thing i got here is black based, got 2 mares already that are homozygous for the black gene so would love to have a creme gene or dilute in there somewhere..

Ok one last one check this girl out a little older and they don't list her pedigree but the Zan Par Bar horses tend to be really pretty animals.
