| Try getting him a sponsor or two!
My friend here gets the feed store and some others plus she hosts a bbq sale to raise money every year for world. She never pays a penny outta her pocket. All the feed store asks for is advertisement space on her trailer. | |

| Hey Cindy, thanks for the advice, I took it ) I have a question though... When someone sponsors you, they pay a one time fee to put their sticker on your trailer, right? Just wondering. I went to town today and already got two sponsors! | |

| Yeah CONGRATS on the sponsors!!! I'm sure there are lots of ways to go about it. Do what works for you. Some people can sponsor you per event for a fee and some can pay monthly, etc... I know the feed store pays her to keep the sticker on year round. They pay her an annual fee right before world in a big chunk of a check. She also gets discounted feed from Nutrena because she carries a Nutrena sticker too. | |

| I know a girl who used to run speed events and had Budweiser sponsor her. She had a Bud saddle blanket and a sticker on her trailer. Maybe not the image you want to portray, but with 2 sponsors already, you are on your way. Feed companies are a great way to go. Just make sure their product is something you can really get behind. If you get a discount on their feed as well, that's great. What type of truck do you drive? Did you go to your local dealer? I've heard of lots of people who show and go to buy a truck insist the dealer remove their stickers unless they want to pay a fee or give a discount on the truck. | |
