| Does anyone know how to calculate FQHA percentages? My APHA colt out of my FQHA mare, and by my mainly QH APHA Stallion is eligble for registration with FQHA... So long as my stud would pass the (I think it is this...) 75%. www.allbreedpedigree.com/millenium+miracle | |

| There are a few on here pretty good at that. If not, check out the web sites. I think you can find it there.. I do not breed the foundation lines. | |

| You can also contact them and I think they will figure it out for you. I had one foundation bred mare a long time ago. At that time there were two different associations. One was you had to be 75% and the other was 85%. I do not remember who was who on that.. Also, if you found the site you can do a little research yourself and find out if it looks like there is enough foundation on there to get in touch with them. | |

| not with paint on the papers sorry you will not be able to register with the foundation quarter horse people I do think there is a foundation paint horse association though... the registery that your mare is with the National Founation Quarter Horse Assoication is an 80% requirment no Impressive. The Foundation Quarter Horse Registry is 75% and there is the Foundation Quarter Horse Alliance and I can't remember their requirements but I think it is 75% but none of the groups will allow paints just TB. I do know there was a big push for a paint foundation group awhile ago but I haven't checked into it in a long time if you hear anything let me know my little guy would definately be in on that too . If you need any info or %s PM me. | |

| I checked into it a bit more, and my mare is actually registered with FQHA not NFQHA... Silly me, I always get them mixed up. When I contacted FQHA with questions regarding registration and how to notify them of my mares death, she said they have quite a few FQHA registered APHA horses. She said I could register my colt and my stud with them if they had the right percentages. I tried my hardest to figure out the % of my stud.... and I do believe I got over 80% foundation for him... but dont totally understand it. I know if there is a TB in there they are 0%, but dont think I fully understand what they mean, because if a horse is born prior to 1940, they are 100%? Even if they have a TB parent or grand parent? If thats true, my calculations are low, But I guess better low than high | |

| Ill help when I get back but remember when you calculate Two Eyed Jack is only 88% I always thought he would be 100% but he isn't. There are some other things but I can go through it later. | |
