Invitations Extended To 10 Los Alamitos Championship Contenders LOS ALAMITOS RACE COURSE, CYPRESS, CA—SEPTEMBER 30, 2007— Los Alamitos Racing Secretary Ron Church announced his list of invitees to the Grade 1 $200,000 Los Alamitos Invitational Championship to be held on Saturday, October 13. The following 10 horses have been invited to the 440-yard event (listed alphabetically):
Champion Aged Horse
Apollitical Time, an Apollo filly who won last year's Los Alamitos Invitational Championship and runner-up in the 2007 Mildred Vessels Memorial Handicap.
Multiple AQHA Champion
Catchmeinyoudreams, a Pritzi Dash three-time winner of the Los Alamitos Invitational Championship.
Vessels Maturity winner
Five Bar Molly, a daughter of Dash Ta Fame.
Multiple stakes winner
Go Love A Lark Go, by Love A Lark, who ran second in the Vessels Maturity and third in the Go Man Go Handicap
All American Gold Cup and Higheasterjet Handicap winner
Ketel Won, a Stoli colt who has not raced at Los Alamitos since breaking his maiden here on January 1, 2006.
Go Man Go Handicap runner-up
Leading Spirit, the 2005 champion 2-year-old gelding by Special Leader, who earlier this year finished third in the 440-yard Bank of America California Challenge.
Soul Of Silence, a Separatist gelding who was the upset winner of the Spencer Childers California Breeders Championship Handicap on California Breeders Champions Night.
Startlet Hawk, a Hawkinson gelding who won the Grade 1 Los Alamitos Winter Derby and Grade 1 Golden State Derby in 2006.

Strawkins, also by Hawkinson and winner of the Bank of America California Challenge.
Three-time Los Alamitos stakes winner
Strength In Numbers, a Strawfly Special filly who recently finished third in the Mildred Vessels Memorial Handicap.
The winner of the Los Alamitos Invitational Championship will earn a berth to the $1,000,000 Champion of Champions to be held here on December 15.
Volcom, winner of the Los Alamitos Winter Championship, Country Chicks Man, winner of the Remington Park Championship, Dont Let Down, winner of the All American Derby, Blues Girl Too, winner of the Mildred Vessels Memorial Handicap, and Five Bar Molly are already in the Champion of Champions.
Looking ahead, if Five Bar Molly wins the Los Alamitos Invitational Championship then her berth from this race will revert to Go Man Go Handicap winner FDD Dynasty.
Should any of the invitees decline their invitation, the horses listed below will be next in line to receive an invite: Budj; He Storms; LDS Dash For Dylan; Value The Man; Adjusted Credit; and Cut The Snow.
