First Moonflash, Blazin N Shakin Win NM State Fair Futurities


ALBUQUERQUE, NM—SEPTEMBER 22, 2007—The New Mexico State Fair Senor and Senorita Futurities for New Mexico bred two-year-olds was conducted on Saturday.

First Moonflash picked the winners share of $53,058 in the $105,115 New Mexico State Fair Senor Futurity (RG3) for owners Pierre and Leslie Amestoy. Trained by Fred Danley and ridden by Bonifacio Perez, the brown colt went :19.560 seconds for the 400 yards to win by ¾ of a length.

First Moonflash was the first stakes winner for his sire Champion First To Flash.

Take On Smashing was second with Royal Blazin finishing third.
