| I was sniffing around ebay and csme across this bosal. Its cheap in price, but Im not sure about the quality. It just popped up in my search, and I noticed that there are plenty more to choose from. Thats the thing with Ebay, you can only find the good quality stuff, after you have sorted through all the $80 saddles . | |

| Just be aware that it appears to be a pretty thin bosal, and as such will be a lot more severe than the larger diameter ones. | |

| Well...it depends. If it's the only one you're going to have, I'd go for a regular sized (bigger) one. My trainer uses the bigger ones, she only goes to the smaller size if the horse wants to lug on the bosal (gets heavy) or is unresponsive and then she goes back to the bigger one after a few days. I know it's not the "proper vaquero" way, but the only time we ride Janie in the bosal is when we show her. She was started in a sidepull and then went into a snaffle bit. We will put her into the bosal the day before a show so she remembers what to do. I don't like riding her in the bosal too much because it will make sores on her nose. | |
