What a day! Grrrr

It was such a pretty day! The sun was out, the wind was blowing
slightly, it was just gorgeous. I go to get in my truck and notice my
satellite radio system is gone..... poof.... disappeared. I looked
around all the doors were locked and nothing else was missing, no
damage. I call my husband on his cell phone just in case. Nope hubby
didn't take. He came outside and noticed they punched the passenger
side lock in, they took exactly what they wanted and then locked the
truck back!!!!
Soooo, I filed a police report and called sirius to report it stolen.
They are so nice. They are sending me another one for free.
The guy I talked to said to make sure and check back to see if my
stolen radio was reactived. If it is, they'll give the address to the
police. It's a felony and I am soooo pressing charges if we catch them.
So then, I call the Ford dealership to find out how much to get my lock
fixed and fell out! $400 to replace the key lock! I hope everyone had a better day than mine!

That STINKS... I hate it when things like this happend. Nothing worse the a liar or a thief in my book.. I truly believe what goes around comes around.. I hope they get it activated and you get them..

Sorry about your truck, at least they didn't damage the body at all. Your insurance should cover the repair with no deductible. Check with your insurance company, but with my insurance company, my rates didn't go up when my truck was vandalized.

Oh man, that's terrible! I guess it's a plus though that they didn't take the whole truck:roll: My neighbor's truck was stolen, and the police found it later on in Mexico!
That's really nice about the Sirius folks just sending you another! Keep us "posted" (no pun intended...) on the police's findings!

I'll let you guys know if and when they're caught. I agree, nothing is
worse than a liar and a thief...... ex-husbands fall close behind! ha ha

Man, that's bad to hear! At least you can sort of track it. Sneaky little suckers weren't they... criminey, to even have locked the truck back, like you're never going to notice it.

My sister's telling me Houston just keeps getting worse and worse. Jeesh!

Well, it was $65 to get my alarm fixed on my truck today, so let them
try now! I have the dually at the shop getting the windows tinted an
alarm installed in it too....
