Birthday Presents

Since Wade works away from home during the winter, he gave me my present on his last days off. I got a pair of green SMB boots. He even got the color right. The kids got me a new lunge whip, and some friends got me a bit. One of those Goodwater kinds that the top part doesn't swivel. I love bits, so it was a great present. I will see my family on the weekend, so I'll get some more stuff then. I love presents, so getting older doesn't seem so bad.
What sort of things do you ask for for birthdays and such?

Last year was the last time I asked for anything.. Presents are on the bottom of list.. I have too much already. And, pretty much get what I want when I want it.. But, I was turning 50 and asked for a new high end Lap Top and super steak dinner... Got it and love it..

Well, Jools, if we can wish for that, I'd wish for Bradd Pitt or Tom Selleck (watched Quigly the other night)... HA!

Otherwise, we don't usually do birthday stuff, that is, for us. The boys get $100 cash - too hard for me to figure out what to buy them now.

For Christmas, though, a wheelbarrow about every two years, whips, blankets, etc. This year, it was Jazz.
