| Got some coupons on the mail for Nutrena safe and easy buy one get one free thought I would give it a try... anyone tried this product? anyone tried Nutrena? Good bad indifferent? Really great deal so I end up with the coupons they sent getting bags of feed for about $6.00 per bag and a total of 20 bags free if I want to use the maximum amount of the coupons but have to before the end of the month. The horses seem to like it but I think it smells funny . I am trying it on a couple of my open mares right now and they devour it... | |

| Where did you get thecoupons? That sounds like a great deal! I went to a presentation given by Nutrena a few weeks ago and i was very impressed with their line of products. A lot of research has gone into every one of their products. Safe choice sounds like a good feed for older horses, they even have a mini and pony feed. I'm considering switching but I want to research it a little more and use up my stock of Omelene. | |

| I have a friend who swears by it.. She feeds the mare and foal and claims she has never had leg troubles with her weanlings.. Or her HYPP N/H horse ..She does halter.. Now all I could see with the leg on her weanlings is they cannot stay on the ground at a horse show.. | |

| I swear by nutrena compete 10-10, there is another one I feed some too but I can't remeber the name right now. I love the compete. Nutrena is the only feed that I can give my appy show horse. He does awful on everything else. There prices also aren't bad up here.
After I switched my gelding he gained around 300-400 pounds in the first few months they were much needed we had been fighting on awful weight isssue and my mare also kinda fussy eater is doing fabulous on it. | |
