I finally got a new video of Janie today. This is after one month with my new trainer, Sarah. When we brought her home from Missouri, she was barely green broke so she has really come a long way. This is her first time being ridden with bell boots (she just got re-shod today) and only her second time in the shank snaffle. She's a 2-year old, for anyone who doesn't know.

I thought she looked pretty good. She is bobing her head a lot. Is it possible she needs a chiropratic adjustment What I have learned over the years is they will do that if they are out..

She does not appear to have a problem with new feet and even though she is new at this the bobing tells me she might be out..

I think she is bobbing a lot because she's still trying to figure out what to do with her feet and she is just now learning her head set. She is scheduled for the chiropractor this month though!
When she came home from Missouri, she was G-R-E-E-N!!! She would barely steer and stop. So this is how far she's come in a month, and we are pretty darn proud of our little princess!!

She seems like a very conscientious hard worker and pretty amazing for a two-year old. You can tell she understands head set because she keeps correcting herself when she goes up, but she just needs a little more strength and control to keep it there all the time.
I love her!! She's really going to stand out in that show ring!! You have a real winner there with a sweet steady personality.

I agree with Stockman I think she is just trying to figure it out maybe she isn't so consistent because she is trying to go so slow and maybe doesn't have the strength and ablilty for that just yet but she is sure a nice horse.

Glad you are knowledgable about the chropractic stuff.. Could be a combination. Never hurts to rule it out though.. These youngsters do have a lot to think about. It looks like she is going to be really great. And, she is so pretty too..

Let us know what the Chiroptactor tells you.. I just had my weanling done. You were not on when he got sick.. He has PSSM (not confirmed) and when he tied up he was pulled every direction to get him on his feet.. She said he was out EVERYWHERE. Poor guy.. I knew he was though.. I told her I thought just going through birth could do that to them. She said it does and happens to the mare as well.

I am sure your little gal is just fine and you will know for sure.. Will be fun to see you on her in a pleasure class.. Lookin Good..

She is coming along nicely. The bobbing could be a combination of still gaining muscles strength to carry herself correctly and sore from training. The chiro is a good idea.
