| I rarely get to go trail riding overnight anymore now that I'm back into the show thing, but when I do I rough-it...mostly because my trailer's not finished and wired yet What do you all do? _________________ "How you ever gonna know...if you never dare to try?" -Garth |

| We plug in, but we also have a generator if we need to rough it LOL _________________ If God brings you to it, he'll bring you through it.

| Plug in Turn on the air, climb up on the bed and watch TV. Nothing like roughing it. |

| Coming in late here. Hope you had a good ride, Cindy. Sounds like you had it REAL rough. lol! We just upgraded truck and trailer so we can do some horse camping. Starting from ground zero with tricking out the dressing room, though. A zillion things to be done to get it the way we want. Fortunately, we only live a mile away from a big trailer dealer, and will be significantly adding to their '07 profits. What brand of generators do you all use? I'm told the Honda brand makes a really quiet one, but they're also really pricey. How do some of the less expensive brands compare (Colman, Kipor, etc.)? We won't be doing a huge amount of camping, so I'm trying to keep expenditures reasonable. _________________ The most difficult thing in the world is to know how to do a thing and to watch somebody else doing it wrong, without comment. - T. | Honda can be pricey, but they will outlast a coleman, etc. If you're willing to spend the money or you are lucky enough to find an RV salvage yard, try and find an Onan. They are super quiet and last forever. _________________ If God brings you to it, he'll bring you through it.

| Cindy is right - Onan is definitely the way to go!! A bit more pricey, but worth it in the long run...very quiet, and last forever. I'd rather spend more upfront and know I won't have to replace it. (LOL, now ask me if I have a generator...NO...but when I buy, it'll definitely be an Onan!) |
