I'm gonna make a trip to the BIG mega mall tack store either today or tomorrow. I'm thinking they should have some light colored brown ones. Her mane is a flaxen color.

Cindy, Which one are you going to?! We've gotta get some new stuff for our guys... I'm so glad we don't have to band manes!!! Ours all lay perfectly and we pull religiously!!! We do train them but basically all we do with that is they get a bath after every work and while they are wet we comb the mane over...otherwise no training and our manes usually look pretty good...but they are race horse manes... We use tape for forelocks

I'm going to Sergeants Western World in Hockley. I think it's just before you get to Hempstead on 290. They have TONS of stuff from the basic cheapy stuff to the major top of the line show stuff. It takes me about an hour to get there, but it's a Walmart for renecks!

Yeah! I love that place - I just had to make sure I wasn't missing out on anything else!!!!
It takes us about 25 minutes to get there from the farm!!!!
I could get into real trouble in that danged place!!!

There's another one on the way to Austin. I forget what town, but it's called Southwest Tack, I believe. I love it too!

Oh, man, I love Sergeants. They've got one I think right north of Ft. Worth/Dallas, with clothes, and stuff... and I'm like, oh, my GAWD, where's my billfold! HA!
