| He is not in the NWSSA for starters and they should take that off the site.. Unless he got in late. With that statement you have to buy the breeding through that auction to get in to it... He is aged and I would not expect his neck to be in show shape. That is what I did not like about him and some of my own. I would not breed a mare the was tested + on the OLWS to him. The fee is reasonable and if he in fact is in the BT and TC then that is a plus. I did not see how tall he was.. OK...APHA will not get a look if they are not really tall.. And, I would check to see how much to ship to Canada.. Shipped semen is running that much just for Fed EX.. If you like him and have the means to ship on him then go for it. If you have a mare that is not pretty dang good then pick one that is.. All this cost a lot of money and you want to get something you can show/market and get you money back.. | |

| It sounds like he will be in the NWSSA in 2009. Hey if you like him and he compliments your mare then go for it. I dont think the price is bad and alot of others are charging alot more for shipping. | |

I plan to breed my TB mare, so basically need something short backed, with an awesome hip and awesome shoulder. She produces very nice foals, but mainly performance horses... I want one I can halter (and win :0) as a youngin and ride later. Her long yearling son is doing very well, and I suspect her filly will do the same... just want some new blood also as for shipping costs, I'm well aware its going to cost me a lot, which is why I need to be careful on prices because at a certain point, I may as well go buy one on the ground. I'm not set on this guy... just had a looksie and wanted to know what y'all see :0) Going to post another guy I found right now. | |
