Looking For Stallions Empty
PostSubject: Looking For Stallions   Looking For Stallions Icon_minitimeSeptember 24th 2008, 4:20 pm

I have been searching and searching the net for the perfect stallion for my mare. I want well known working/running or halter lines, and looking for an APHA or double registered stud.

My mare is http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/shes+aloof

Gems faults I'd like to try to fix for the foal -

A better sloped shoulder
bigger hip
shorter back
little pretty head

Also, requirements are, HYPP N/N, OLWS Negative (so looking for only Splash white, sabino, and tobiano, no Frame overo's)

I honestly plan to do AI because I can't seem to find a local stud I even really like, and my mare probably wouldnt settle if hauled around.

Im looking for something under 1K.

Thanks for your help! Very Happy

thank you both of you! Very Happy I have searched and searched and am having real issues finding the one I want.

I do really want a big name stud, just not willing to pay to breed for 2K when I could buy one for that!

Thanks again, Im off to go check them out!

There is a double registered stallion in TX who is pretty nice - very well bred - I think he is $1000 and they ship semen.
Awesome Chrome

Also a paint stallion that stands at South West Stallion Station - Raise A Jet - he is older but I think they still ship on him! You can get to him for 750 last time I checked.

Check out "speedhorsemagazine.com" and go to the annual stallion register (I think its still online).

Also - racehorseplace.com has a few stallions on it (Awesome Chrome is there)
