Finally!

We finally got a new computer! Woo hoo!

We got an HP with Windows Vista, and Im not too sure about the new Vista thing, Ive heard that its not that great. But you cant buy a new computer with the XP anymore. So we'll see, if it gives me any problems, its going out the window with the other one.

Its good to be able to get back on here whenever I want!

Welcome back!!!!!! I know how you feel. We have 4 computers in the computer room, in various states of "fried". I'm using a crippled Dell lap top on the kitchen table. (I'll never buy another Dell) If I had half a brain, I'd remember to have the other phone line disconnected.

I liked windows. We had XP Professional, and it was easy to use, a kid could easily use it.

Its harder to find things on Vista. There are alot more bells and whistles than windows, things that I dont really care for. Oh well, as long as I have the internet, everythings ok.

I heard that alot of computers are having trouble running the Vista, because it takes 45% of memory just to run it, then add in your internet usage, photos, and everything else. One of the techs that I talked to said you need to have ALOT of memory for it to work right.

Triple J, you will be the first to know if I am ready to give up the new computer for adoption!

A friend of ours has it, Hes not happy! Guess it will take him awhile to get use to it.

im not alowed to have lap top,but my sister is alowed. we only have one computer and me and my mum fight to get on it.we got a window computer and it's sorta good as it keeps play up,so we have to turn it off then back on again.

All I know is that Im tickled to have a new computer. Now my boyfriend can quit saying that I use him for his computer!
