Ok, I have a issue with geldings. Mine are Lazy. Hee hee.. For pleasure That is kind of a good thing. But if the get hurt, then that is it.. Also Putting this huge show record on one lets say its 15. There value drops BIG Time. If its a mare, well. She can now be bred and has a show record to back her up. OH, corse for the first time in my life, I have more geldings then mares. Am I liking this NO! But it was just the way things have worked out over the last couple of year.

2- Geldings Tank and my pleasure gelding
1- Stud Colt (May- Gelding Appointment) Ill Show him, KY IF program.
1- Yealing Filly
1- Broodmare
1- Yella Baby that may be sold. WILL BE SOLD!

Ok, I will have to agree that if your showing them then yes a mare can then continue on with the babies. But out of the show ring I just love them boys. I just hate going through the stud colt age.

I have to say out here it is much much easier to sell the boys- geldings that is if you are wanting to sell ranch/roping horses. Everyone wants the boys... girls just get a bad rap Sad
