Hey all...Jessica here. I am from Texas and I simply love horses. I have been around them all of my life, but I haven't owned one since February of 2006. I had to sell my beloved Scout so I could go to college. Sad But, right now, after realizing how much money my family and I were spending on him, I know it is best I stay away from owning any horses until I am done with college. Its been two years, I suspect I can wait another two years. lol. I am a wildlife management major and I hope one day to work the Department of the Interior BLM department. Also, I am engaged to the best man in the world!

Welcome to the forum, i'm sure you'll enjoy it, we all sure do!

My name is Sara I just moved to Arizona this year from Minnesota. I used to show my horses but since i've moved here I am barrel racing and doing gymkhanas. I don't have my own horses now but I am riding at this ranch and training their roping horses for barrels and poles in exchange for them letting me ride their horses at the events. Smile

Welcome. And you are so right about the price of things to care for a horse. Seems to get worse everyday.. scratch Get your education done and get the big paying job so you can get back in to it.. cheering
