Sorry gang for disappearing....just been very busy. Read on and you will understand why, lol.
For those of you that are new to this forum, I'm Mickey from the old AQHA forum. I own 5 aqha horses that I enjoy playing with; Hook 5 yr. gelding... my bubba, Belle 4 yr. mare in my sig. Sadie 4 yr. mare, Smokey and Cache, yearlings, our newest additions. Cache is my son's horse.
Hook and Belle I've started showing some, and plan on showing more this summer. Hook in HUS, WP, Trail....any of the pattern classes. Belle is strictly a WP horse, but I think she would be great at the pattern classes too, if I can just get her to get out of the slow mode, lol. Sadie came to us unbroke as a 3 yr. old and still is in training. She is more like Hook...refined... more of a modern build than Belle, with a gorgeous little head.
Cache and Smokey are both grays and are the neatest color. Right now they look like Grullos. They are chocolate w/ white hairs mixed in, but they will eventually be grays. I plan on letting them just be babies for awhile, but I have already done all the basic ground work with them.
Anyway, I'm so glad to be back on here. I've missed chatting with everybody. Although, I may not be on as much as I was on the ole forum, due to the above, lol.
Can't wait to read how everybody's doing. It's going to take me awhile, lol. I'm so behind, but it's a nasty rainy day, so here I go........

Yeah! I was wondering where you went! I'm glad to hear all is okay for you. Sounds like you've been really busy! WELCOME BACK!!!

Howdy Mikey, hope to get to know you and hear about your horses. I am new and have two QH and a Percheron, hell of a herd I tell you. She makes the two QH look small, and they are 16H.

Thanks everybody. I can't wait to get some pics of the yearlings to show you how neat of a color they are. I took a pic of them about 3 weeks ago, but they still were a bit fuzzy and their mane looked terrible, so after looking at the pics I decided I needed to clip their mane and bridle path. They look much better now. It's funny how you don't notice little things like their mane looking rough, until you get a picture of them, lol.
Glad to see that most of the ole gang is on here.

yayy!! hopefully I'll get to be on here a little more now that the school stuff is startin to slow down! We totally have to get together at a show sometime girl!
