			<description>I took my gelding for his first outing and all went well. He did manage to go through the electric fence one night as he is not completely trained (yes that is my fault due to time constraints and a bad outlet).  



Luckily I came up with the idea of putting glow sticks on both horse's so we could check them throughout the night. If it was not for the glow stick we would not have been able to tell that he was out. The next night he also had one on the rear of his sheet so if he turned I would  ...</description>

			<title>No back shoes</title>

			<description>Thought I would toss this out to anyone who trail rides their horse. I have a gelding who has wonderful hooves, never really have had any problems with him in that area. This last time, farrier said that I really could go without back shoes, his hooves were nice, I dont' ride on overly rocky area's so I thought heck why not. I have since ridden him on our gravel road and let him choose his path. 



So far, so good. Anyone else do this? Keep shoes on the front hooves as that is where they carry  ...</description>
